One of a pair of vampire twins. Most will percieve him as meek, gentle, and probably weak at first glance. Clearly this cannot be all there is to the boy with striking emerald eyes. Inserparable from his twin brother, Kamui. Subaru is of pure-bred vampire nobility. Subaru and Kamui travel together across worlds to escape the treasure hunter, Seishirou, who is in search of Subaru after Subaru offered his blood to him. In Tokyo, when Subaru and Kamui arrived, they were immediately pulled underground to the basement of the Touchou Building, where a reservoir resided. When the twins arrived, a feather appeared with them, and reacted to one that was within the reservoir, |  | Neverending Cycle☆★ causing Subaru to be dragged into the bottom of the reservoir and forced to sleep as he becomes trapped within a strange cocoon. While trapped in the reservoir, and Kamui keeping close watch over him, another group of travelers arrive in Tokyo: Sakura, Syaoran, Fay, and Kurogane. Sakura is also pulled into a deep slumber and Subaru talks with her, urging her to wake up before she is lost in her dreams. After a horrid turn of events, Subaru is released from his slumber and apologizes to a fainted Sakura for waking her at the worst of times as the water in the reservoir disappears. Subaru takes the blame, feeling guilty for what happened, and offers his blood to Fay so he can survive, in exchange for water. Kamui intervenes and instead gives his blood, saying that he does not want anyone else to have Subaru's blood ever again (it is hinted at that Subaru has given his blood to Seishirou in the past but for what cause is unknown). When Sakura&co. leave Tokyo, the twins part as well before Seishirou catches up to them.
